Senior GamesThe 28th Annual Tampa Bay Senior Games kicks off on Monday, October 6 and features  28 events from athletics to hobbies to talent. If you are 50 years and older and think you have what it takes to compete, check out the Registration Book and Entry Form.

 

Walking with the Mayor -- Keeping Tampa Fit

walking with the MayorMayor Iorio invites you to join her on Saturday, October 18 at Al Lopez Park for a fitness walk and free health screenings. All registered walkers receive a free T-shirt. Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. and the walk will begin at 7:30 a.m. The Mayor will walk four miles, but you can do as much or as little as you like. Don't wait in line, pre-register now by downloading the Authorization Form and mailing it to : Walking with the Mayor, 1420 N. Tampa Street, Tampa, FL 33602.

September 9, 2008 - Mayor Pam Iorio is inviting Tampa teenagers to get involved in government by joining the Mayor’s Youth Corps Class of 2009. Young people in 9th, 10th and 11th grade can apply now to become a member of the Mayor’s Youth Corps. The deadline is October 24, 2008 and applications are available from high school Guidance Offices.
