Temporary Road Closure N Armenia Avenue that began October 18, 2021 for Road Construction to be Extended

A portion of N Armenia Avenue between W Waters Avenue and W Busch Boulevard closed on Monday, October 18, 2021 for road construction will be extended.  A City of Tampa contractor will complete the reconstruction of N Armenia Avenue south of W Busch Boulevard. 

All northbound and southbound lanes on N Armenia Avenue between W Humphrey Street and W Skagway Avenue closed at 9 am on October 18, 2021.

Sidewalks within the work area will be closed during construction.  Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.

All lanes on N Armenia Avenue are expected to be re-open to traffic by 4 pm on Monday, July 11, 2022, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.  

Northbound and southbound motorists can use N Boulevard or N Dale Mabry Highway between W Waters Avenue and W Busch Boulevard, in lieu of N Armenia Avenue. 

Northbound and southbound trucks can use N Florida Avenue or N Dale Mabry Highway between W Waters Avenue and W Busch Boulevard, in lieu of N Armenia Avenue.
